The Rules

- I have an extremely strict No Fanart and Written Work based on The Legend of Spyro trilogy and Skylanders series Policy in this group. If you have a problem, deal with it! Try arguing with me and you can consider your membership and current status terminated, plus a one-way ticket out of this group. Do I make myself clear? Good, then don't break this main rule!

Below are the rules of the group which you must abide to:

1) Don't submit any artwork or written that are based on The Legend of Spyro trilogy and Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure or any other artwork that has nothing to do with the original Spyro the Dragon series and/or American Dragon: Jake Long.

2) Insert the group icon into your journal entry.

3) Treat the founder (:iconxflowerstarx: - me), the co-founder (:icondeath989:) and everyone with respect.

4) No spamming or "trolling" allowed.

5) Don't join the group if you're not a fan of the original Spyro the Dragon series or American Dragon: Jake Long.

6) Crossover artwork is now accepted :thumbsup:, as long as either Spyro or Jake Long are in it.

7) Please submit any Spyro the Dragon series (artwork of characters and villains are now accepted) and American Dragon: Jake Long artwork here if you find any.

8) To join the group or affiliate, you can either ask, press the "Join Our Group" icon or click the "Affiliate" button in the Group Info section.

9) Artwork and drawings of original characters are now accepted! :D Just make sure you submit your original characters that are for the old series and not The Legend of Spyro trilogy and Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure

10) Classic Spyro and American Dragon: Jake Long crossovers with anime are also strictly forbidden and highly unacceptable

11) Old-school Spyro characters and American Dragon: Jake Long characters drawn in an anime style are not allowed

If I catch any of you breaking any of the rules listed above, I'll give you a chance before deciding whether to kick you out of the group or not or permanently blocking you from the group or not.

Year of the Dragon/Chinese New Year Contest Result

Since this is the final day of the Year of the Dragon, I might as well announce the winners before the Year of the Snake (my Chinese Zodiac year) starts tomorrow. :) :D

2) :iconkeyotea: - due to lack of accuracy, the contest entry isn't in high quality and his points were deducted 'cause he didn't do his research properly since there aren't any Chinese lanterns in it or anything that is related to the Chinese culture.

3) :iconalpine-dragon-queen: - I enjoyed reading your one-shot but I have to admit, you were almost close to winning. Unfortunately, due to the sudden change in the contest rules and points system, you've been knocked off from the top spot.

4) :iconkilla-gummibear: - 'Cause the one-shot seems rushed and it's too short.

5) :iconinkartwriter: - due to the deductions in points since the horns look a bit off and the fact that Spyro doesn't look like how he should be. But other than that, I'll give kudos to you 'cause you've done your research properly in terms of the Chinese culture.

Spyro, Sparx, Jake, Spud, Trixie, Rose and Fu Dog were still walking around the city.

"Okay dudes, stop." Jake said, as he spun to his allies and using a stop hand signal. His pals stopped walking.

"Why Jake?" Spyro inquired.

"If we wanna find Hunter faster, we gotta split into groups. Alright, I will go with S, Sparx and Rose," Jake told to his pals. He looked at Trixie. "Trixie, you go with Spud and FuSpyro and Jake Long - Ch. 4 by ~xFlowerstarx

In the meantime at night, somewhere in New York City, Ripto was pacing back and forth on the wooden ground while Hunter was by the wall. His hands were tied behind his back with ropes and his legs were tied together as well. The sky was velvet and the stars were shining brightly. There were no clouds in sight. Hunter was trying to struggle, to break himself free from the ropes but to no avail. Different sizes of wooden boxes were stacked up high on the ground, some were not. Spyro and Jake Long - Chapter2Thanks for the comment, Ignitus1976! :D I really appreciated it. :) Anyhoo, Spyro was my childhood favourite. I used to play Spyro the Dragon, Spyro: Gateway to Glimmer and Spyro: Year of the Dragon on the original Playstation. Somehow, later on I’ve gotten bored with playing Spyro so I decided to play something else like the Mario series. Enough of my blabbering, let’s get on with the second chapter!

No way, Jose, am I gonna change the rules just for you or anyone, for that matter. What I say goes. I'm sorry but rules are rules and they are there for a reason. To submit something, they have to go through a voting system.

Unfortunately, no, under no circumstances. 'Cause Sonic is in those pictures. Therefore, all of your fanart are unacceptable. If Sonic is replaced with Kirby and Link is replaced with Mario, then everything's hunky-dory.

Also, is that the old-school Spyro? Ya do realise that artwork and written work based on The Legend of Spyro trilogy and the Skylanders series is strictly forbidden?
